We are happy, that we can fill in another blank space on our map, because since very recently an AQUILA conquers the Southeast Asian airspace. Still, before our aircraft could rise in Yogyakarta, it had to undertake a rather unusual journey. The AQUILA A211 wasn’t brought to Indonesia by air, as you could expect, but by water instead. A couple of months ago the airplane had already been freighted into containers and shipped there. The expert final assembly followed on site and was carried out by our specifically flown in skilled personnel. The first take off was delayed because of the wait for the right conditions. Now, it finally happened and as you can see on the pictures and videos, our A211 makes a good impression in Southeast Asia, too. Special thanks to Tikno S. Handoko for providing the footage!
