New Variant AQUILA A211G3X approved
The newest version of our AQUILA A211 – the A211G3X – has recently become available. In August 2020 we finished the certification process with the receipt of the EASA-approval and started serial production of our new basic-version immediately.
The A211G3X is a fully digital version of our A211, equipped with 2 Garmin G3X Touch-displays. It contains one 10” G3X Touch PFD for the primary flight instruments on the left-hand side and one 7” G3X Touch MFD for engine instruments on the right-hand side of the panel. Additionally, according to your preferences, it is also possible to display either flight and/or engine instruments on both displays which increases safety by redundancy on the one hand and gives you all the necessary information you need for flying the aircraft on both displays on the other hand.
The A211G3X comes as a day- as well as a night-VFR variant and is despite the full-digital cockpit even more effordable than an analog A211. Sounds like a real basic-variant.
And other innovations are already on the way. Our development department is already working on the integration of the Garmin GFC500 autopilot system into our A211G3X. And our “turbo”, the AQUILA A212, is expected to be available from the end of 2022 in an entry-level version with a G3X panel, too.
